Believe it or not, it’s been raining here in sunny Southern California. And, while this of course means we’re too afraid to ride, accordingly we’ve had ample time to reflect on the amazing December weather we experienced this past weekend on the annual Campagnolo Holiday Toy Ride.
Campy North America’s yearly ride to benefit the San Diego Children’s Hospital, this year’s edition brought in plenty of toys for good little girls and boys.
Speaking of which, Paved associate editor Ryan LaBar and yours truly probably spent more time (and had more fun) than is healthy for adults(?) our age in selecting our toys at the local Target.
Disapproving looks aside, we left knowing that if the Legos and Transformers we bought proved to be half as fun as it was reliving our childhoods in the toy aisle at Target, there were going to be some really happy kids.
As for the ride, we couldn’t have had better weather, form, however, was an entirely different story.
Back at the ranch, we got a chance to check out Campy’s latest and greatest, their new EPS electronic groupset.
And in typical Campy fashion:
Stylish as always.
