Rerun | Photographer Stephen Wilde Gets ‘Covered’ By Dan Barham

September 2012 — A few weeks ago, we took the opportunity to travel to British Columbia to present Paved and Bike magazine photographer Stephen Wilde with a framed cover of the Fall issue. It features one of his images shot while on assignment for the ‘Zen to Zero’ story that can be found inside the issue. Written by Bike and Paved‘s Managing Editor, Brice Minnigh, it follows his enlightening—and grueling—ride on Taiwan’s Central Cross-Island Highway, the island’s highest road.

We hope you’ll enjoy the fruits of our labors, and be sure to check out the cover image and story once the issue hits newsstands on September 18.

Searching for nutrition tips and training advice? Look elsewhere. Want to join us as we go hypothermic on Taiwan’s highest road and follow a crew of former BMX pros on a skinny-tire journey from Seattle to San Francisco? Suffering and stoke are two sides of the same coin…
