Rapha Signs on for Innaugural Northwest Juniors Classic

Announced today as the title sponsor for the innaugural Northwest Juniors Classic, Rapha North America has chosen to support junior’s racing in the United States in a big way.

“We believe that great character is born from the sport and we are excited to provide an event for these young racers that is challenging, fun, and theirs alone,” said Rapha North America Communications Director, Chris DiStefano.

The three-stage, two day race will take place in Elma, Washington, on July 28-29.

Organized by Revel Consulting/Rad Racing NW, one of the largest junior cycling programs in the country, the event will include a time trial, criterium and road stage.

Event Director Jim Brown is looking forward to what is expected to be a well-attended event.

“I have been working with junior cycling in the Northwest for 12 years and there has never been an all junior stage race held in Washington during that time period. We are excited to move the juniors into the spotlight instead of being the sideshow at an adult event,” he said.
