Ira Ryan/Trucker Racks ‘Market Bike’ Collaboration
As we look down the barrel of another NAHBS, we though it might be fitting to feature one of last years winners, and one of our personal favorites, Ira Ryan’s ‘Market Bike’, built for a friend and local restaurant-owner’s daily produce-buying trips.
“The Trucker trailer collaboration was really fun and the bike is still used every day in Portland, rain or shine. It has held up great and looks better with a little “dirt” under it’s nails.
Making a beautiful bike is always hard work and gratifying in the end but making a real-world bike that looks as good as it functions makes me love what I do even more. I have never set out to make a show bike so making a bike that people can see themselves using on a daily basis says a lot to me.” – Ira Ryan
