Sky Yeager’s Pegoretti Luigino
Photos by Anthony Smith
“Dario [Pegoretti] built this gorgeous, lugged steel Luigino frame in 2008. His TIG welding is really tight and tidy, but I’ve always lusted over one of his classic lugged framesets with a flat fork crown. The bullet seatstay caps are some of the nicest I’ve seen. he built it to my requested geometry, which took a year form order to delivery. I assembled it with sew-ups, which only makes the ride more delicious. It’s hard to play favorites, but this might be it.”

If only we were all so lucky as to have a hand-written message from Dario himself.

One of the most beautiful seatstay junctions you'll likely ever lay eyes upon.
NOTE: Ferrous Friday is soon to be a stalwart fixture on www.pavedmag.com. Look for a gorgeous, interesting, sultry, (or just plain weird) steel-built creation every week on—you guessed it—Friday.
