Marked by a fine fall day, the 2013 Boulder Cup made for a solid day of racing as riders took to the particularly challenging course at Boulder’s Valmont Bike Park. While perhaps not the most ideal conditions for ‘cross—clear skies and plenty of sun—folks weren’t exactly disappointed as Boulder was more than owed a bit of fair weather. The women’s race would see a triumphant Katie Compton, who rode in alone a minute up on the rest of the field, while Jeremy Powers won a hard-fought battle in the mens race.
