Hot on the heels of the 2013 Tour of California route announcement comes word of Scott Sports’ partnership with Official Tour of California Tour Operator, Velissimo. If you’ve always wanted prime access to the race, as well as a chance to experience the roads the pro teams are riding for yourself, it’s hard to beat an opportunity like this.

SCOTT Sports has announced a joint venture with Hawaii-based Velissimo, a provider of luxury cycling tour vacations. SCOTT Sports will be providing Velissimo, one of the Official Tour Operators of the 2013 Amgen Tour of California, with a fleet of SCOTT Foils to ride at the tour May 11th-20th.
Velissimo is offering a choice of three luxury vacations tours ranging from 4-10 days during the Tour of California. Guests will stay in the finest accommodations, have VIP access to the race, and ride sections of the Tour of California course on SCOTT Foil bikes.
SCOTT’s Foil is position as the Competition-Speed bicycle in SCOTT’s product line. The Foil represents the perfect balance of light weight, aerodynamics and stiffness resulting in the most advanced road racing bike available. “We are extremely please about our partnership with SCOTT,” said Velissimo owner Oliver Kiel. “SCOTT’s always been a great company to work with, and the Foil is an incredible bike that’s a perfect fit for our clients.”
