What a breath of fresh air! This aims at the essence of road cycling,,,the riding, the people, the no nonsense writing and best of all, the fantastic photography. I thought it particularly bold that you showcased everyday bikes, not $12,000 superbikes. Maybe some pictures of dirty race machines at the end of a grimy Classic will be forthcoming? I can’t wait for the next issue.
Thank you for bringing a north american magazine that is focus on the history and culture of road cycling. I’ve een missing that for a while. Long live to Paved magazine.
WOW…. finally something that has met the fine balance between great and greatest magazine ever. I really did appreciate your premier issue, it was enlightening to read about the true nature of cycling, the details that were included made me feel like I was there. The most satisfying detail was how the fans were integrated into your pieces. Yes we do exist, thank you. Thank you also for leaving the non-utainable goals of the lycra wearing demographic out of this magazine, I hope it continues. Congratulations and good luck.
Hello from Slovenia (Europe). Just got your first issue. It is expensive (10 eur), but hey, who cares. The best part of magazine a pictures. They are really something special. Congratulations and good luck.
My husband loves your new magazine. I would like to get a subscription for him for X-Mas, but I don’t see any way to subscribe–really bad timing to launch this just before the holidays and leave us desperate cycling widows without gift services!!
As a mtb’er who recently started riding on the road in the last few years, I really enjoyed the first ish: Paved is like Bike for the road set, and I dug it. But what’s the deal with putting Armstrong on the cover? Way to set yourselves apart from the pack.
Hey!!!! Great mag, just came across the second issue, excellent stories. Where can I get a copy of the first issue? The link on the website for back issues only has the 2nd issue listed. I have the first issue of BIKE mag and would like to add the first issue of PAVED to my collection.
I heard good things about your first issue, so I grabbed the second issue when I saw it. But what did I find? A bunch of multi-thousand dollar bicycles. Sad really, there are already plenty of magazines like that. Just once, I would like a magazine that reviews bikes that the rest of us actually consider buying. Oh well.
WOW! Just got my first issue. Looks great! (Don’t suppose there’s any chance of becoming a monthly — or, at least, bi-monthly — publication, is there?) BTW, I signed up for the newsletter WAY back when, but never got one. Has there been any . . . or did my e-mail get lost in cyber space?
You realize therefore significantly with regards to this matter, made me for my part believe it from so many various angles. Its like women and men are not fascinated except it is one thing to accomplish with Girl gaga! Your personal stuffs nice. Always deal with it up!
Awesome first issue! As someone just getting started in road biking, your magazine was informative and a pleasure to read.
Keep up the wonderful work,
Hai
